Notes: According to Bodhan Kusak, Alistair's right hand in his last years, the house was originally going to be mud brick but the very steep site meant that another solution had to be found. He came up with the idea of three mill-sawn planks welded together like giant 3ply see the attached panel details. The clients were pressed for cash so Alistair designed a very economical house. One unusual feature is the chip-board flooring which, after 30 years, shows no signs of wear.
